Elven Optional disadvantages

High Elves

  • Many HIgh Elves are raised with the belief they are better then other races. This can cause them to have the opposite of the charisma talent. It can be very hard to be friends with an uppity elf. This is normally a high elf weakness. (1 Talent point)
  • Another High Elf weakness is cleanliness. They cannot stand to get dirty and some might say they are OBCD if that disease had been defined yet. A 4/IQ is required for them to complete any physically dirty action. They even have a -1 to their actions when excessively dirty.(1 Talent Point)
Wood Elves
  • Most Wood Elves have a horrible business sense and can often be tricked in business deals or handing out the treasure. A 4/IQ roll must be made to notice. Note that this does not mean they are stupid. The issue must be subtle for them to miss it.(1 Talent Point)
All Elves
  • Dislike for half-elves. Why would a superior species mate with one as inferior as humans? This weakness forces the elf to roll versus 4/IQ or he will taunt the half-elf. The half-elf in turn must save versus 5/IQ to prevent HTH combat or worse. (1 Talent point)
  • The extended lives of elves and the protected nature of the culture can cause an elf to have a fear of the undead. A mild case gives -2 to hit. (1 Talent point) A severe case causes the elf to have a 4/DX roll to hit undead creatures.(2 Talent points)
  • Note: In some worlds Elves are only allowed to wander the world between the ages of 100 and 500. Any elf not returning to the elven homelands at 500 will only live to be about 700 years in age
